No mate, remember - we need to give Lovren games to build his confidence. Forget about dropping the better centre back (Sakho) and disregard his confidence. LOL
This thread started nearly 2 years ago... And the same proplem still exist and same discussions are still being had
First clean in 9 games is something to write home about.Simon Mignolet was excellent and man of the match. Every player .
Much better shape and structure against Spurs but we're making individual errors which lead to good chances. Hopefully we can cut these out.
Not really - his mistake wasn't the key issue. Clyne and Milner need to do much better to prevent the cross and Can should have been tracking Ramires.
Funny that, because the other week Skrtel should have dealt with the problem regardless of the cross not being prevented
Can't recall, there have been that many You pick and chose who to blame depending on the players involved rather than the actual play of the game.
I'm sorry you feel that way. Please tell me where I was wrong when I said Moreno, Milner, Clyne and Can were at fault for the goal? Apparently I have an agenda against certain players - as everyone knows, I can't stand Moreno and Can and I always have a go at them. Do you think I was excusing Moreno? Ironic given I have said he should be doing much better. Perhaps you're criticising my analysis regardless of who I focus on or what I say? Hypocritical to say the least, and not for the first time I may add, Mr I'll Call A Everyone a Scapegoat Because We're Not Allowed To Criticise Players Unless Its Me Critisicsing Mario. Or are you offended that I mentioned Milner in my critique? Bingo - that certainly strikes a nerve with you. After all, you had your nose up his Arse all summer about how he is the best central midfielder ever. or maybe you're offended that I mentioned Clyne? You know? The nasty brit that I hate despite my saying he's a very good but please disregard that small factor. I must naturally hate him. So Gez, please take your pick and have a go at Hypocritical Bingo.
'Can't recall' Translation - 'I'm just having a go for the sake of it because I haven't got a leg to stand on or capacity to debate in an intellectual way.'
You clearly protect Moreno (one of your favourites) here... Fair enough though, you said "wasn't the key issue", therefore deflecting to blame but not claiming he was entirely blameless. You're getting better Nope. The translation is "I can't be arsed to scroll back through the endless drivel to find it". You know full well you have your favourites, everyone on this boards knows you do. There was one earlier in the season that Gomez failed to stop happening or the one where Can dived in far too quickly recently, both times you blamed Skrtel. Is he one of your favoutires? I'm not sure
Lol and you fail to acknowledge Milner's attempt to stop the cross! Moreno should be doing a lot better - but there were fundamental issues other than Moreno. You've said yourself - stop the source! Biggest hypocrite going mate.
Totally agree, there were more players at fault and it should never have got to Moreno. However, it did get to him and he failed miserably at the job he was meant to be doing in that position. You dismissed that in the comment I quoted, don't know if you said different further back though. If we take the attitude of "someone else should ahve done their job" then Moreno may as well stay up front hadn't he? No, I mean players you follow blindly regardless of performances as well as completely dismissing those that do deserve some sort of credit. Aka scapegoats. As I've said, I've not read back but no doubt you wanted to focus on Milner and Skrtel for being at fault whilst ignoring Can and Moreno (I think they were the players involved) PS...and yes, I was picking fault for the fun of it, I was bored
