    Seems a bit odd to me to pick on Ryan Taylor who I presume is being asked to play out of position at left back,a position more specialised than a centre half.Unless of course he is a left back then it's fair enough,abuse away!
    Can't believed you played so open against them though it really played into their hands,tactics were extremely naive I thought

    Thought this for a long time. Yet most people here thought there wasn't a problem with the defence/ Raylor.

    On the contrary, he didn't play them because they were bought behind his back and weren't in his plans. He knew nothing about them and couldn't use their qualities.

    Over the moon about players you have no clue about because they were bought dodgily? You're mad. Yes they may be good players now but back then they were completely unknown and raw talent.

    Not really he should have known through seeing them in training and the fact they were already playing for Argentina. In particular Tevez who scored 2 in 10 for Argentina in 2004 and even Macherano had 14 caps before joining west ham.
