Because he's a better player who scores more goals? Keogh's a great link up player but if McCormack isn't firing on all cylinders he's as good as useless.

Completely summed up Keogh. Becchio was a great foil for Beckford, but he got his fair share of goals anyway. Keogh's really can't be relied upon to score. That means all pressure is on McCormack. He's got better link up play than Becchio, but Becchio's still good at holding the ball up and will score.

i like keogh but becchio and mccormack would do really well together and theres more goals in that partnership. says it all when becchioundoubtably replaces keogh any time we need a goal

I disagree with pretty much every statement about becchio being better than keogh. I think keogh is our best striker to be honest. Its almost a little naive to believe becchio is better.

What was becchio ever really good at.... winning headers, working hard, muscling the defence. He used to give away a foul everytime he tried to hold the ball up, infact he used to give away a lot of fouls in every instance which would put the defence under pressure again, his touch is actually quite poor as well. If you wayed it up, keogh is really better at everything other than putting the ball in the net which despite becchio's goalscoring last season, hes not particularly good at doing it, he shoulda scored more than he did to be fair, the amount of chances he got.

    1) I don't possibly understand how anyone can believe our defence is better this season?
    2) Keough better than Becchio in every way? Goal scoring for a start off and goals win matches. You can't say he creates them as we have scored very few goals of late.

Said it before and I will say it again - If you have a striker in your team who is there to create chances and not score them it is a waste, get yourself a midfielder instead who is capable of scoring and creating a few.

I still also believe we are missing Gradel big time, his extra goals from midfield and the amount he created is starting to be missed.
