I agree with that, the mods here are not ban happy and I have found myself especially with DL that you get a fair hearing, unlike the Spuds board where the ban was not enough and one mod in particular got pretty vindictive about the whole thing.

 

Indeed. DL can be cringeworthy with his sad attempts at becoming the new LittleDinosaurLuke, but the spud mods are so far up their own hypocritical arses they make him look like a saint

I was banned by DL for nothing more than (politely) daring to take a (gentle and) humorous critical view of CFC. No personal insults, no profanity, no abuse; and I was banned. Probably on the say so of the very small proportion of imbecilic partisan posters on this board. I was un-banned because the majority of CFC members of this board were outraged enough to vote for my reinstatement.

I'm not saying that this board is the worst for banning - clearly the 'Pool and Gooner boards are far, far worse - but I would definitely say that the Spurs board is fairer overall.

What you have got to bear in mind is that the Spurs board is far less tolerant of personal and vindictive abuse, especially when it is supported by the use of profanities. Posters who avoid that kind of behaviour are rarely banned. We put up with PESKIE, for christsakes!

 

You really are a tool. I will be asking that you are banned for your abuse.

HIAG's meltdown on the spuds board was hilarious. I had him caught up on his own hook on his Gooners thread for 50 pages, repeatedly allowing himself box himself into a corner and talk himself into a deeper and deeper hole.

He went from calmly believing that he was on the wind up, to more and more desperately trying to wriggle off his own hook, to eventually having a full blown tantrum, begging the spud mods to ban the 'nasty' piskie

 

.... before eventually going into hiding for a month

 

So sensationally bitchy haha.

 

I don't see why he should be banned personally. I've had my share of "discussions" with him but find he's a decent poster generally. Only thing that irritates is his sucking up to the manc ****.
