Surely HIAG is well able to look after himself, let alone letting a few posts on a forum get to him. On this thread alone there are a few who do not like Sisu but I'm cried out at this point:)

The sexual tension between HIAG and Piskie is plain to see but keep it in the bedroom where it belongs!!

Seriously and ironically - all this nonsense about bans and irrelevant stuff like Heysel is derailing more threads than the alleged wumming; as is some Chelsea fans' persistent bickering with other posters.

Let the mods do their job. If anyone steps over the line they will be gone.

We had a vote for HIAG and stuck by the decision.
We had a vote for Sisu and we should stand by the decision.

The mods should be representative of the Chelsea board not a dictatorship. Even with Bodanki changing his vote it is still 66% for banning. That in any referendum is overwhelming. You can't agree to go with a vote one time and then not the next.

I'm sure District and Bucks will adhere to the vote.

Difference is that the HIAG vote was called by your mods, this wasn't. At any time there are many of us who would probably lose out in a vote of this type, but I suggest the mods would wait till the case for a vote is made before they called one.

At the request of the posters PMing them. It's odd that you think so little of a fair democratic process.

Not happy with your reply Sisu especially when you imply that Juve fans pressed against the wall causing it to fall on themselves?? Assuming you covered Physics at school you would see a problem with that statement.

Also baring in mind the horrific waste of human life irrespective of nationality you only cried for justice for the Hillsborough catastrophe yet ignored the plea for justice for the 39 which still is no nearer or likely to happen for the families of those deceased.

In closing its physics that has the last say, rather than blame everybody else " cause & effect" The biggest factors.

Presumably he meant the pushers weren't the same fans that it collapsed on.

As for justice, several fans were prosecuted. Probably not all the perpetrators but in a riot scenario that will never happen.

At the end of the day, DL and Bucks are mods. The difference between this poll and HIAG's poll is that a mod made HIAG's are therefore has a right to say what happens, I'd be a little pissed of if I was mod and somebody made a poll like this as it questions authority imo. There's just no point in having mods if we're just going to make a poll when somebody wants another poster banned, let DL and Bucks handle it and if you have any issues then let them know as I'm sure they'd welcome any of our input.

I understand Sisu can get on many posters tits but asking both mods before posting this wouldve been the best option.

It is not questioning their 'authority' it is asking them to adhere to the wish of the majority. Also the HIAG poll was not from them but from other posters that PM'd them and wanted it. 18-5 isn't even close.

There are about 25 regular Chelsea posters and 18 want him gone. You really can't get much clearer than that.

    Exactly.

My concern is that some are voting for a ban purely due to the partisan dislike of opposing fans rather than someone doing something to warrant a ban.

I really don't see much point in a Chelsea fans only board and that's what we are heading for.

And...as much as I enjoy some of the OP's threads, he is one of the biggest WUMs on here so a bit ironic no??

That is ridiculous. It was a fair open vote and whatever peoples motivations it was their vote to do as they wanted. Your assertion of a Chelsea only board is also ridiculous, he's be about the 3rd person banned. Odd that everyone stuck with the HIAG vote but those that didn't like the result here are now dismissing it.

Perhaps but the MODs are here (and often voted into their role by us) so we should trust them to decide whether bans should be put in place. Not every decision/law that goes through parliment gets a referendum for instance.

The probelm with a vote like this, is that we all probably have different views as to what warrants a ban which therefore skews the process. The MODs of each board decide what warrants bans and are there to uphold it.

My assertion regarding a Chelsea only board is not ridiculous at all and could happen down the road. Opinions, great thing about them is everyone can have one.

But people are expecting it to happen without consulting a mod first, which brings me to the question what's the point in having mods if this is the way it will be done?

So you are saying that if the mods decide to hold a vote as with HIAG then it is a fair solution and the vote should stand but if one of us holds a vote and the result is as overwhelming as this then it should just be ignored?
And of course everyone has different views but that is life. Are you suggesting that some peoples views are 'more right' in someway?

This wasn't even close and as far as I can see the only people against the result are those that didn't get the vote they wanted. You know what that sounds like?

Exactly. I see some QPR mug got banned the other day for blatant wummery yet no body is calling for a vote on that. We are either happy with how the MODs do things or we are not. I personally think they do a good job.

Just hope there isn't a vote for my ban for not agreeing <whistle>

I haven't seen anyone suggest otherwise but I do think they would be wrong, now that the view of the majority has been expressed, to ignore the result. If you voted then presumably you did so thinking your vote would count.

My point is there has to be a process. Go to the mods first and they can perhaps mail the 'offending' poster first and ask them to wind it in. If that fails then ban if need be. The only reason for the HIAG vote was because it was clear some people didn't mind him and some did so it wasn't an obvious decision for the mods to take. Good call Mods.

If the mods haven't banned Sisu, it suggests he hasn't really done anything that wrong IMO.
