Lovren handing in a transfer request doesn't bother me, nor Schneiderlin stating his ambitions. I understand why they'd want to leave, and there's nothing wrong with telling it like it is or asking the board if you can go. Schneiderlin as far as I can tell, has never made any secret of his ambitions. He really isn't saying anything different than he's always said. He's also said though, that he would never hand in a transfer request and would honor his contract. We'll see if that's the case. Lovren just handed in a transfer request which means he was willling to forgo some money which a certain other player refused. If we turn down his request perhaps he comes back and plays just fine. I'm not saying we will keep Schneiderlin or Lovren or that things won't turn nasty. Just that they haven't yet. So far we have sold Lambert because it was the right thing to do. We sold Shaw because we got a ton of money, and I personally would have advocated selling him for that sum in any case, and I think he was always going to leave if not this season then the next. Lallana leaving is the only real troublesome indication there are some serious issues going on. But then, maybe it's just Lallana's being foolish.
