I like Cleverly, seems like a decent human being and he's decent at football too, but I doubt he'll ever be more than a squad player at United. There's no shame in that, a team is only as strong as it squad players after all. As for Fellaini, we've a good run of results and we've now lost our best player in our weakest area in terms of quality and depth. Now is his chance to really prove he belongs at United. Surprised people still that Carrick is ****. He's been the consistent centerpiece in the United midfield for the past 6-7 years in the time they've won a CL final, and 5 Premier Leagues. He's easily the best midfielder available for England at the moment and I'm amazed that he isn't first choice. The game against Poland is a perfect example. England were comfortable with about 15 minutes to go and Lampard comes on gives the ball away a couple of times and England were under pressure and on the back foot. Carrick does a lot of the unappreciated but necessary work to help teams win.

Nothing wrong with kissing another dude. So what you're saying is Scholes is basically Lucas, except with a good sense for the goal, a wicked shot, an absolute wizard with the ball, one of the best passers of his generation, and one of the best readers of the game? Or to sum it up, Scholes is basically Lucas with actual footballing talents.
