    embarrassing! ridiculous! obscene!

however, it also has to be labelled 'necessary' if we are to stay up. everybody else is doing it so if we don't we'll go down. don't like it though myself - i thought it was shameful. mad marc is still my favourite player though :)

yes he has struggled a bit. to be fair to him, he struggled initially last season and even a bit in league one - it seems to take him about 10 games to get going. unfortunately for him, we don't really have ten games where we can afford to wait for him to come good and also the form of morison has been very good and he deserves the spot in the team. we've changed formation to play a 4-5-1/4-3-3 so only really room for one striker. holt will still have a part to play but he may only play about half the games. he did show against chelsea that he can score goals and be a handful, but morison is a better player <ok>

oh, and there is an abundance of kryptonite in the premier league <laugh>

haha, no chance. he still has a role to play at norwich. just signed a new three-year extension to his contract. just cos he isn't playing every game doesn't mean he isn't required!

considering how easily he tore you to shreds last season warky i find it slightly confusing as to why yourself and a number of your fans continue to tell us how holt is fat and he cheats etc. if i was you i'd want to wipe him from my memory...

do you think he reads these pages? do you think he is crying into his pie? fact is, the fat lad who was playing non-league a few years ago would walk straight into your team right now and i think thats what annoys you all the most, that you don't have him. i mean, all you ever talk about is holty... :)

Why would we need holt when we have Chopra?

Yes he tore us to pieces last year but lets be honest quite a few teams did! <yikes> And as for him walking into our team er... I don't think so! I'm more than happy with Scotland but thanks for the offer! <ok>

Just as a final point its good to see Holt playing and scoring regularly in the Premiership for you! <laugh> One season of over achievement doesn't make him a great player.

I want to bring a lack of unbias to the situation, despite being an Ipswich Supporter.

Superman I think you'll agree with me that I have bigged Norwich up the past couple of seasons much to my dislike. But I think you have a cracking manager but without him, you'd be decent but knowhere near the team you are now. He not only seems to pick a perfect balance to a team, but his tactics have generally been spot on in every game, something very rare for a team of your size who usually aren't very adaptable. I said you'd do well last season amd I think you may again suprise a few people this season, I would argue that you are weak in the CB positions though and need someone with a bit more experience to help. Upfront I think your decent enough although missing your chances atm, I don't see this being because of poor strikers. I think you'll stay up this year, however much it pains me to say and I think so far you have performed very well(But I do look at the penalty taker of your opposition every week to put a bet on, could be a nice little earner)!!

As for us Ipswich fans, we get far too carried away after a couple of good or bad results. I mean about 3 weeks ago we had a terrible manager who should get the sack, rubbish players and there was talk that it would be good for us to get relegated to rebuild and come back up much like Norwich have. Now 3 weeks on we are certs for the playoff. I think to think I have a little rationality in my thinking :)
