Oh for **** sakes, really? Come on, we have a budget to operate within and that's that. If players like McCormack (who should really prove himself two seasons on the trot first) feel they are worth more then they must leave. Too often in football we see players have one good season and they then sign lucrative new deals to then struggle to find any form again. Mind you, an extra £10k a week can do that to reasonably good but not great players. Warnock knows what he must do, and I'm sure he will do the best he can. Ward is looking at a number of different offers and he will pick the one he feels is best for him and his family. It has nothing to do with Leeds financing a fee at all. Why do people keep dissing our club while claiming to be supporters? Leeds fans March On Together no matter what. We wait and see what the manager accomplishes before we comment.

Anyone with a gram of common sense can see what's happening, but people like you keep believing the **** Bates tells you and that's how he can carry on ruining our club. People who actually know what's going on within the club tell the truth and you ignore it to "wait and see", you've already turned against McCormack because Bates has engineered it so people do, it had already come out long ago that they planned on selling him, and you can check back through my posts to see that, and I'm telling you now there is next to no chance Snodgrass will sign his contract. I honestly wouldn't be surprised to see us in a relegation scrap next year because that's what everything points towards. Anyone who believes what the club are telling them is kidding themselves.

Simon, I'm not so sure I follow you.

My understanding is that he only club communication re. Rosco is when Warnock indicated that an offer had been made to Rosco & he didn't think Rosco would accept it. I don't see a lie there. I also don't see bates making any announcement either.

So why the generalised rant out of context?

Well, if Ward was waiting to find out if Blackpool are going up before making a decision on his future, he can think again........

Insider information came out a (relatively) long time ago that Warnock and Bates knew the offer would be rejected when they made it because they made a deliberately low offer. This is because Bates has told Warnock he needs to sell before we can buy, and this is the reason Ward hasn't been signed, we haven't sold anyone yet. It was set up this way because there would obviously be outrage if we transfer listed Clayton and McCormack at the same time. Bates knew what he was doing with this, and I've already seen comments all around the internet about how McCormack could leave if he was asking for so much money. It's also known that because of this clear lack of ambition the club is still showing that Snodgrass is leaning towards rejecting his contract and looking for a move elsewhere. The result in the play-off final today has no influence on whether we get Ward or not, his preference has always been Leeds and it is us who aren't coming up with the transfer fee.

Where did you get this from?

Troubling when there are so many rounding errors.

Expenses have grown every year except the most recent one. Why? On what?

The club has lost money every year, except the most recent one, before adding in profit from player sales. Sounds like a selling club, doesn't it?

Anyone know if increase in Media money is due to Championship TV money? I expect so.

Did this 'insider information' mention figures, or is it the usual rumour mill vagueness? I'm not saying they're not right, but quite often such sources are expressing an opinion, putting 2&2 together, or generating propoganda to promote their own agenda. Of course, they may get it right sometimes. Just like Boab - he provides information to us, but oddly, almost entirely all of his predictions are handled in quite the reverse manner by this forum.

I do find myself laughing when every piece of 'insider' or 'sources' speculation is grasped with glee (as fact!) by certain people on this forum, especially if it's anti-bates. "It must be right if it's anti-bates" seems to be the adopted adage. Personally, I prefer to accept speculation as speculation. Not fact. My training throughout both my working and personal lives has been to challenge everything and assume nothing. This has stood me in good stead for over 50 years now. That's my stance & I'll never change.

It's someone who has got nothing wrong, and often releases information a weeks before the wider media. I'm not usually one to fall for "insider info" but he's proved himself right time after time.

Yes, you read it wrong, there was no cash flow. :emoticon-0105-wink:

Leeds United have a reported loss for tax purposes of many millions. As a result, when they have future taxable income, no taxes are paid until that loss is used up. In the accounts this just shows the benefit the company received from having that tax credit.

To my uneducated eye, it seems glaringly so!

Amazingly, it also appears that we didn't pay any tax in the 3 years leading up to the rebate! V.strange. Same accountant as Rangers, perhaps?

Does the low "Net Interest Payable" mean we are not servicing debts?

Speaking of which, from a different source, don't be surprised if Craig Whyte gets the jail.
