It looks like we are heading for 0-1 down.
What do we need to do?
Are major changes needed?

Cook needs to give up captaincy.
Robson has to go,bring back Compton
Moen needs to go,bring in Bairstow (he could keep as well)
Prior needs to go,see above
Stokes has to go,bring back Jordan
Bring back Monty(get coaches to get him in right frame)
The only captain available is Broad or Bell.
Neither are a good pick,but who else is available?

Really poor performance today
 
One thing's for sure is that we need a decent spinner to help us polish the tail. England's batting has been average at best for at least 2 years now but our world class bowlers got us the results more often than not. Mind you anderson and broad have been well short of their best for the last year.

I'm stumped for an answer to what can be done to improve our batting line up other than stripping cook of the captaincy. I think goughie suggested bringing in Chris Reed but I never really rated him when he was last in the side.
