To be fair the entire team were doing that yesterday1 at least Benny almost scored twice . I think he's become a target of blame and you know what? he'll go elsewhere and win trophies.

Don't think anyoe is blaming HBA for anything. A few have pointed out he hasn't been brillinat lately but then that comment is being made about most of the team.

The problem for HBA is he hasnt lived up to the hype that some media and fans have spouted.
The lads who sit behind me have been banging on how good HBA all the time, well on Saturday after coming on as sub on Saturday, they turned round and said they can see why Pardew isnt starting him. Think other fans want to take a good look to.
I hope the lad will come good but he is going to have to listen to Pardew. and adapt to the English game.

I honestly dont think its about him adapting.

hes not a right winger!! he either needs to be on the left flank if behind the front two....simples

Wholesale changes are not the way forward. We had a bad day at the office, mainly because we lost control of the midfield and never regained. Cabaye had a shocker and Guthrie likewise when he entered the game. They were so sloppy with the ball it was untrue. I like Cabaye and think we'll see the best of him next but he has had very few good games since around November. I think he has felt the pace and is in a lull (his early season stats on ground covered now taking its toll).

I have been saying for a while I'd bring in Santon on the right. Simpson had a good game up until the goal yesterday and it will be harsh on him. But we are losing so much by playing Santon in an unnatural role. I think Fergies form also deserves some involvement. Can't see Pards making that kind of change for a derby though and I understand that. Benni's body language yesterday was worrying. It was a game I'd have started him in and I think he just looks fed up with the bench. Understandable on his part but we need him to get his chin up and keep trying to changes Pards mind. I'd probably start him against the Mackems but to be fair to Pards, his form doesn't really warrant it.

The manager doesn't believe in Benny. End of story.

If I was his agent I'd get on the phone to top teams in and around Europe.

Ben Arfa is an outstanding technical player, i love it when he plays.
He gives us that extra dimension, okay sure he might be a tad greedy and incredibly left footed.
But when he does do that amazing bit of skill, or that shimmy it lifts the crowd.
The crowd at SJP is our ace, i've been to a few away games and support is amazing.
Home games are second to none for atmosphere.
Benny can lift the crowd, he just needs to full of confidence, and his manager to feel confident in playing him.
I still don't like it when we play players on the "wrong side", just so they can cut in.
Play Gutierrez right wing, and Ben Arfa Left.
and with are two great strikers we should have more success, and also pleasing Ben Arfa. :)
