Yes I contacted the City and my querry was forwarded to the Streaming Department and I got a reply. It indicated that they were still trying to work out the details of the yearly subscription with the EFL. Suspect that they were in the middle of trying to poach a new IT guy from a rival and that after their first choice had decided to sign for Shefield despite being seen at the MKM trying out the keyboards. It was reported on Twitter that after that disappointent they had moved on to their other choices on ther list but gven there was only a week left before the season started they were looking at the loan market but have to wait for Man U and Liverpool to return from their pre-season tour.

The next commentator? Should go full on 90s to mirror the wretched dismay of the fans (and the recent matchwinner kits).

Burns would fit this 90s criteria plus he was often negative to stupid levels too (e.g. the relegation comment when we had probably the best second tier side we've ever had)

But I would offer instead:

Harvey (the commentator from the Goals That Count 90s vids)

David Gibbons - our favourite simian

Of course, presuming the above are both still withers.

Every commentator needs a co-comms surely. Need someone for the colour and someone for the analysis.

I think Burnsy is a fantastic commentator but did get sidetracked a bit easily by Swanny when they should have been talking about the game. That’s my only criticism and why I think he’d be better on his own.

I'm hoping they'll be augmenting the server capacity (or whatever, it's 30 years since I did any technical IT stuff) before the season starts. I don't think I ever had any buffering last season and every game in pre-season has had loads of it.

The stream last year was excellent but if the quality goes down you may as well watch on the free dodgy streams. Hope the stream is good this year.
