    Ah right.

Shame to see games pretty much over from 2 minutes in but rules are rules.

Apparently it was the third quickest sending off in the Prem's history.

    Andy Gray is spot on.

Should have trusted his keeper. 1-0 down with 11 men is better than 0-0 with 10.

Awesome and unlucky effort from Long and two very nice headers from Jelavic. Unlucky to hit the woodwork too.

How do you think you're doing now? Two good results on the spin makes things a hell of a lot rosier. Especially when you get two strikers scoring, you paid enough!

First time I think we've actually bought some decent strikers since I've followed the club - bar perhaps Fryatt.

Long scored one and Jelavic scored one.

EDIT: Leave that I just noticed what you meant.

Well we have Southampton on tuesday, then Cardiff in two weeks with Brighton in the cup in between. After that we have Newcastle. If we get 6 points out of those i'll be very happy.

He was bound to get one in. He's hit the woodwork in every match he's played for us.

Could honestly be basically safe this time next week if we can get back to back wins. I mentioned how important these three games were in the Sunderland thread and a Sunderland supporter asked me what I was smoking. If we beat Soton we're a good chance to beat Cardiff, and then on 33 points we're really sitting pretty.

At Long (swidt?), Long last we have strikers who look menacing, fast and confident.

It's like watching a new team.

Yeah that strike from Long was ridiculous, such a shame it hit the frame.

Honestly, I didn't even think Long could be this good before we signed him. Has really hit his stride straight away here.

I can see survival being pretty much guaranteed on 35 points or so. So many teams involved.

Yep agreed. However, knowing the way things have gone, we'll lose to Soton and Cardiff which will drag us right back down into it.

    It's what you've needed.

He might not score every game but he'll create chances. You're looking like Leicester up front now. Long (Vardy) doing all the running and tackling. Its so good to watch isn't it?

Look out for Suarez's effort later. Volley from a similar angle. Unbelievable technique would have been one of the best goals i've ever seen.

One thing that the video didn't show was Jela's celebration. You could see how much it meant to him. I think he'll really press on now the drought is over.

BTW I know i have already said it but Andy your sig is class.
