Has anyone else listened to the latest one with Campbell and Deano. Makes entertaining listening with Deano remarking that in his mind we should always be playing with 2 strikers up front. After listening to a few of these podcasts I have warmed to Dean Windass, he actually does seem to talk a lot of sense, at least about football anyway.

I find it impossible to not love Dean after all the great memories he gave me.

He’ll always be a legend in my eyes.

Loved this podcast especially for the way they both interacted.

Taking the piss out if Deanos spelling “I type ow I talk” and the various ways Campbell’s name gets spelled too. Funny stuff.

I had the pleasure of interviewing Dean for an hour or so recently. He's a very shrewd thinker about the game, and his memory for the finer details of the games in which he's played in was amazing. As for his legendary status, there was no one more opposed to the name change than me, and I despise much of what the Allams have done, but I'll never not consider Deano to be right in the top tier of Hull City legends. That goal - and plenty more before it - will forever make the hairs on the back of my neck stand on end. We've a lot to be thankful for when it comes to Dean, a hell of a lot. And one of the things I'm looking forward to about the Allams leaving is being able to begin the process of forgetting who was and wasn't in favour of certain things over the past five years, and hopefully being able to simply unite in our support of our football club again.

Agree with this in it's entirety.

I've supported this football club for 50 years and "Windass! Quite simply, destined to be from Dean Windass" is the greatest moment in this club's history.

I cannot see how it will be surpassed.

BTW I've just watched it again and I swear that he hits that volley sweeter and sweeter every time I watch it.
