We always used to see him touring our council estate collecting debt repayments. How brilliant to have him coming to your home. Unfortunately my family used a different credit agency.

I have, and had forgot about, a few newspaper clips, well I still have those newspapers obviously, which are relevant to this thread so I though that I would post them.
Both Roger & Peter his brother, I think they were twins, played at Wolfreton when I was there, and John (of car fame) their elder brother was in my year at school. Even though both Roger and Peter were good players, I thought Peter was the better of the two, but Roger was the one that went on to have a professional career.
Pete De Vries was a PE teacher at Wolfreton in late 70s, early 80s when I was there, the same time Roger was in the City first team.
I forgotten Peter went on to teach there, they were both good players when they played for the school.
Yes but there was a sell on clause for two pints of stout and a bag of 'Mr Trotters pork scratchings'.
