Yes indeed, many pictures I have not seen before, sad to see Boothferry Park disintegrating before your eyes
I have a few pictures I took as a kid when I use to hang around the North Road entrance where the players use to come out. I was usually there with my autograph book but on this occasion I had a camera, goodness knows why as it was film then and costly to get developed. But I think it must have been closed season and I was on school holidays, the players had had a training session don't know if its worth putting them on here.
I've just remembered a BP moment. Mid 60's, Armstrong-Massey's offered the new Vauxhall Viva as a raffle prize. Me and my mates were in East Stand opposite the tunnel when they announced the winning number.... and my mate George won it. Great memory except I can't remember who we were playing that day.

Christ Jimmy Graham looks about 65. I cant really remember Craig Lawford but he bears a resemblance to Ian Brady.
Can't read the names(if any) but that looks like Greenhalgh and Mellor underneath the Willie Buchan picture, and the top one looks like Norman Moore.
My husband tells me it is Greenhalgh and Mellor( no names underneath-reads Everybody's Sports Outfitters). Top one is either Moore (or Alf Ackerman). Always confuses these 2 players.

These are the picture I mentioned a couple of posts back, remember I was about 14/15 at this point and not exactly David Bailey. Click on the pictures to get a bigger version. The caption is on the bigger picture and I haven't a clue as to why they turned out to be this small.
It was 1961 before Johnny Haynes became the first £100 a week player so not very many mega rich players anywhere in those days
