Did solid jobs at Saints and Wolves. Used to working for idiot chairmen with a group of petulant players begged and borrowed from all over the place. He's right up their street.

I'd hate Pearson to go. He did an outstanding job last season. Turned us from relegation certs to promotion maybes in 4 months. Recruitment has been almost perfect and he's tactically sound. Not always exciting but winning matters, nowt else.
 
Why would anyone want the West Ham job? It is a poison chalice with the cockney Chuckle Brothers in charge, plus Karen Brady telling it has it is! League 1 here they come.
