Just received four tiger travel tickets.
Surprised to see there is no seat or even coach number/letter.
We have to join a queue at the stadium, where we are then presumably herded into assigned coaches.
That’s going to take time. It says we start at 8.30.
Wonder if they start actually queueing/ assigning coaches before.

Sounds like an absolute mess. Guess it's a case of fill them up and get them going

I think it’s a case of getting there as early as you can (aiming for 7.30am here) and as soon as you’ve been bag checked they’ll get you on a coach and each coach will set off as soon as they’re full. First come first served.

I can’t see us needing a plod escort but if the Met insist then I presume the coaches will all end up on an industrial estate somewhere in the outskirts of London to line up for that.

In 2008 they started at 7,30 but some coaches where an hour later getting to wembley just before the game

Just opened my parents Tiger Travel tickets - I've told them to just get there early and set off
That's my plan.

Wouldn't be surprised if the booking system wouldn't work without filling out some fields. Hence it assigning row and seat numbers.

Did tiger travel for the cup semi final but don't remember much other than I got a bone shaker.

I did Tiger Travel for our previous two finals (FA and Play-Off) but we had coaches assigned to us.

For Millwall away, there was a cock up where Coach 8 (of 8) was not big enough for the amount of people assigned to it and it meant some people had to move to other coaches. One issue with that is that some coaches, with spaces on them, had set off!

Luckily, some people had opted for 'return only' on Tiger Travel so it was those people they could move around for the way back.

I remember us all boarding on Walton Street and the coaches going around the stadium and out.

all this talk of travel just triggered a memory, you dont see scarves out of the window on motorway anymore do you..
when i first started going with my mate and his dad thirty odd years ago, everybody used to have a scarf trapped in the window , used to see loads flying down the motorway..
might bring it back Saturday

Scarves from the side windows and a full moon at the back.

Yea
Use to love it
Seeing the city scarves, knowing theyre going to same game as you

Do the windows on coaches actually open now ?
Surely that must be against some health and safety laws

(Disclaimer : I can't even remember the last time I was on a coach
probably about 15 years ago)
