Sorry Horsham, sometimes threads turn out to be something different than you intended. I just think that a few on here want to marshall the way people support their club, which is laughably arrogant.

Anyway, from now on it's Levi stay press,Fred Perry's and desert boots for me. I couldn't really go through with the tiger suit, they look awful !<laugh>

When my old dog used to eat a good big bone, he'd **** out a big white turd. If I was you, I wouldn't dress up like that, even if you are TWS....

Surely you deciding not to have a dress code and suggesting ignoring culture and tradition is exactly the same principal as the one you call arrogant?

I've nothing at all against new fans or modern fans and yes, people are free to do as they choose, but that includes peoples right to comment and for them to speak out when people are dismissing the longer standing culture, which after all is probably what enticed the newcomers in.

I never had any problem getting a ticket during our PL seasons. I did not apply for some matches that I could have and I was not a member of the Away Direct. I always got offered tickets.
The odd thing is that I really did not understand why this was the case, until I was politely told not to ever let on.

If we have to dress retro, Levi stay press tonics, Ben Sherman, Harrington (red) with loafers and red socks has to be the gear.

You are clearly an intellectual man Dutch. But where did you get the the bit where i ignore the culture and tradition of our club ? I would never dismiss the history of my club,im part of it. But by the same token,i will not diss the new, only defend them !

Exactly and if it gets rid of a few dinosaurs who A, dont want to get to the premiership and B, wants us to get relegated then they arent or ever were City fans but were just using the experience for their own vicarious needs.

Wouldn't wanting the reflected glory of being in the prem be the vicarious bit?
