What a joke that only 2000 Tigers fans can get into the ground. Hang you heads in shame Nottingham Forest. Don't ever bother to plead hard times in the future either.
Agreed it's incredible that they allow more home fans in than away fans. They should be held to account over this farce.
1. Hull City is a great name , totally balanced , much better than just Hull in tables 2. Who are "Huddesfield" ?
I totally agree with the 20's plenty campaign that the FSF are running, but how does that square with tickets being over subscribed?
I don't think it's about demand, or the market economy or some other bollocks, it's simply that 20 is enough, makes it affordable for more people, and the amount being charged is ridiculous.
As a member of FSF, I fully endorse the "Twenty's plenty" campaign. It is one of those campaigns that is difficult not to agree with. But in practice I can see it being difficult to bring in. Lowering the price of away tickets benefits the supporters and may encourage more to travel, but I cannot be the only one to think that if more can afford to go it will be harder to get a ticket to the popular games and rather than being priced out, those that go now and pay the higher prices already may be simply unable to get a ticket unless they subscribe to some form of preference service. That is what seems to happen with the top PL clubs (Arsenal always comes to mind as I have mates who a season ticket holders). For Arsenal, I know some supporters buy tickets for matches that they have no intention of going to, just to keep their loyalty points going. This makes the whole issue difficult.
Forest and City fans will be doing a joint photo with their Twenty's Plenty banners, outside the away turnstiles, at 2.30pm today. All welcome.
£5 for under 17s Sheff wed v Hull City Great value for the Junior Tigers Who make sure i dont lose my ticket / money / or forget were coach is parked
The fact that most fans have had to pay for travel to get to the matches is what makes me agree to this. I'm surprised that most clubs don't increase their capacity and reduce their prices to get bigger attendances. I'm sure they would make even more money if they make it easy to buy merchandise and food and drink.
Forest are all over the place with ticket sales and prices. We paid £28 Burnley fans will pay £24 Ipswich fans will pay £27 Forests next 2 home games. The match programme was a massive plus On Peter Taylor stand day. Some very good memories of that time.
