Still there, mate. Little Brentford were using this phone technology last season. Always a concern when LUFC introduce new ideas, you only have to see how poor our official site, ticketing arrangements & customer service in general are
Just been to Elland Road to get my season sorted out. Failed. Ticket Office is closed for the rest of the week, is not answering calls, nor is it answering emails. Apparently (from the security guard), at least 'a couple of hundred' have been down before me for the same reasons. The story goes that they've had such a backlash with the new tickets that the only way they can think of coping with it is to ignore it. Tried everywhere at ER to get someone in authority. No chance - all behind reception-less locked doors. Thought to myself that I might have a wee story for the YEP. Ever tried getting in touch with them? You listen while 6 phone numbers or email are given out. Then they 'try' to transfer you & cut you off (automatic, no human involved). Had a look at Twitter, but actually don't know how to message them. Anyone got any ideas to avoid a riot at ER?
I really don't know how to do that on Twitter. Had a look, but have no idea. I very rarely use it, & when I do, it's 'read-only', if you know what I mean.
Pm your message to me that you want displayed and I’ll stick it up. Matt can retweet. It’ll get a reaction
Sorry to hear you're having a nightmare with the new ticketing on phones method WJ and hopefully you get everything resolved by Saturday. You could consider getting a cheap iphone form giff gaff or somewhere but obviously why should you have to go to all that trouble or expense just to get into the stadium. One plus from the new system is you can now distribute your ticket (for individual matches) to another supporter (which they receive by email & save on their phone) and they can then attend any matches you might be missing when you're away. You can also recall the ticket should your plans change.
Or try ringing this number, not sure if they can help or not as it's the commercial team but at least someone will answer. 0871 334 1919 (option 3) or 0113 3676213 Thought WJ had Angus's email as well
