i will probably get caned for this, but i have tried to get tickets to no avail for lazio tonight and it's my son's b/day. Theoffice was a no-no, or ticket-exchange or any other means.
where do the touts hang out these days ?. I don't want to patronise their thievery but getting a ticket for spurs with no membership is impossible these days.
If you hate the idea, please skip the abuse, cos i know it's bad. thanks, anyway.

Wait until near the start of the match when they're desperate to be shot of them and then bargain them down. I've nothing against the touts as I've used them but only with haggle. As to where,I don't know.....sorry.

They're everywhere mate, you can always spot a tout anyway as they stand alone facing the crowd as we're walking towards the Lane, it's the same ones too, amazed the Police have never clocked on to them. You won't be able to miss them pal, they start from where the stools are and are all the way along to outside the Spurs megastore, I must walk past a good 20+ each game. Hope you're able to get a decent price <ok>

thanks, mate. west stand area used to be the place. have not been for a while.

Yeah great place to find them, just look outside the burger stall there and Spurs superstore and I can guarantee you you'll find one.

These day touts wear high-vis jackets and large hats with a picture of a shield on them. Some are on horseback. They are easy to spot and will happily answer any questions you have.

The Seven Sisters exit used to be crawling with them but I guess they had a crackdown on them there because the odd times I've traveled up that way I haven't seen any. I'm sure there'll be plenty about, I'll try and remember to post up on here if I see any.

PS I hate touts <grr>

At WHL station they used to shout an hour before the match"All tickets for the match sold out." A blatant lie of course. I bought one for a West Ham match and found myself in the middle of West Ham's supporters. We won the match and I had to keep my mouth shut so be careful ay.

sounds worth the trip in terms of being able to get some..apart from money, police, reading which stand the tickets are in, parking , traffic and dodgy burger vans that are still there. can't wait, but am gonna try. the boy is 7 and needs to get blooded.

Hi Ebar -

I appreciate money is tight, and that may well be the reason for not being a member, and if so fair enough, you have to prioritise etc,

but otherwise have you considered becoming a member?

if for any reason you don't want to be, again fair enough, it's not my business, but for spurs it's great to have as many members as possible, it boosts our income and always adds status to the club to have a massive amount of memberships

Anyway best of luck tonight, I hope you and your son have a great time

this is the first game this season I've been really looking forward to, I'll be watching it on TV and cheering to myself and maybe some neighbours if i get really loud

There are still tickets available on the OS, but I think it's members only, for some reason.

HI PNP, I think it's because they don't want Lazio fans in with the Spurs fans

I assume lazio have sold their allocation, or it's difficult for uk based lazio fans or indeed just those who are say italian and want to support lazio for the night to get lazio tickets

apparently there's been problems before with other foreign teams supporters buying tickets in the home areas

I didn't go to any EL last year, but in our CL campaign I got tickets outside the shop a couple of times, watch the pricing, a couple of arseholes was trying for 200/250, they were given some short shrift! A couple of other dicks wanted cash first and they'd go round the corner and bring your tickets back to you, after laughing in their face, I asked if I looked like I'd just come in off the last boat! Leaving it late (always risky!) I managed 130 and 150 in the end. I'm only guessing, but they should be around that for EL. Keep your wits about and you should be ok, best of luck. <ok>

I can't remember the opponents (maybe a Polish team??) a few years back in the EL. There were lots of them in the home sections and the atmosphere got a bit nasty albeit with no actual trouble. There were so many dotted around that the stewards could basically do nothing about it.

ghod, i used to go to every home match for years and was a member for a while. now it is about where i live and the poxy journey from hounslow and the north circ, the three kids and wife and their confiscation of funds erstwhile used for Lane trips and i work saturdays nowadays. i hate to pay a tout- last time i did it was stan flashman for the forest final-but needs must and my son is in danger of adopting chelski cos all the tw-ts in his scholl support them.
so, this is in fact a mission- to see the boys, get some euro atmos, but mainly to ensure that junior no. 1 does not stray from the lilywhite road.
ps...is jack's cafe still there on park lane?

Fair play to you ebar - i hope you succeed and it's not 'mission impossible' with your son

should be a great night and am really looking forward to it.

Didn't see any touts but I don't often see them anyway. Probably didn't help that the place had a very big police presence tonight.
