Charity never goes very far. That's why we have taxation and the socialist NHS.

Don't know if anyone has had a look at this. Looks like a good view from seats we got in block 517, not for me though as I am at an athletic event but my son who now lives in Edinburgh is going as he hardly gets the chance anymore. Hoping to go the final if we get there though.

Is there a particular reason he doesn't get chance? Not including myself because I do long weekends back in Hull, but if it's a case of the long journey each way on his own, I know there's at least 2 season ticket holders that travel separately through Edinburgh station on the train on matchdays because I've in the past been on there with them.

It could also include general sales for those who qualify having purchased the requisite number of tickets this season. Confirmation emails of successful applications have already been received.

I just received my Email :). I bought 2 tickets but only selected 1 special delivery assuming both tickets would be sent in the same envelope, now Im a bit worried they are going to send 1 and expect the other to be collected, surely you wouldn't have to pay £5.90 for each ticket?

Yes I noticed that on the confirmation yesterday. It stated (each) next to the delivery price, but I don't think it did on the application form, I'm sure it was only on the 50p booking fee?

Yes it's £5.90 postage per ticket, each one is sent separately in its own envelope, you had to pick which ones you wanted posting individually.

    Mr Hats is right.

    I had to pay 3 x. £5.90 for my 3 tickets

I think its because of the weight per ticket

Are you sure? I have just looked at the on line booking form and for the booking fee it states 50p per ticket but for postage it states £5.90 for special delivery with no mention of per ticket. If you are right they will presumably just take an extra £5.90 off the card? I have had two confirmation emails and they have listed exactly the cost what I had on my form on both occasions, i.e. 2 tickets and 1 postage fee. This is one of your little jokes isn't it?
PS There is a single 'Post my tickets' box to tick - nothing to say post 1 ticket and I will collect the other.

They can't possibly charge £5.90 per ticket for delivery, not even if they're delivering them in person.

They are charging that for delivery! They say it's the FAs fault as they insist that these are so important that they must be sent by special delivery and signed for on receipt. It's to make sure they don't get into the wrong hands apparently.

The FA insisted on it as the tickets are so precious.

It's definitely £5.90 per ticket. Which is why I picked up in person.

I do not believe it! Many out of towners do not have the opportunity to pick them up and why does it specifically say per ticket for the booking fee but not for the postage? I have not seen one bit of correspondence where it states postage is per ticket. Yes £5.90 special delivery, but not per ticket - Christ how big/heavy can these tickets be???

It was on the application form I believe. I spied it straight off the bat as there were three of us applying on the same form.

"We're picking these up" I said "Robbing ****s"

    Agreement all round.

Deffo £5.90 EACH ticket. Sad but true.

Just telephoned the ticket office, the £5.90 special delivery fee is per transaction and NOT per ticket.
