Just spoke to the ticket office and they are sending a fair few 60 pound tickets back, you can upgrade if you can get to the ticket office before 3pm but that is the cut off as tickets are going back to wembley at that time.
National Express, Big Green Coaches, Acklams are all sending coaches independently plus the 110 tiger travel.
Would have been nice to know about this sooner haha (not blaming you). I may have been interested in a swap but worked up to 3pm.
To be fair I think I'd have more grounds to complain about students suddenly being given free tickets, since despite being a student I have to pay full adult price for all my tickets from City.
I carried on being a student got years after I stopped actually being a student. They never said anything I just carried on paying student price. Not anymore sadly.
I'm embarrassed that a league 1 side have sold out more tickets than we have. You can spin it how you like we're not as big time as we like to think we are.
Most people I know never claimed to be big time anyway. I'm not sure where this has even crept in from. Thick end of 30,000 for a semi-final is sod all to be sniffed at, but I'm going with friends and family. That'll do for me.
Anyway yes there is 26500 of us enough to make a decent noise out numbered i know i am sure if we had been the division 1 team then we would have sold out lets not forget the last time we went to Wembley we took 41000 and i am sure if we do win then 41000 will suddenly want to go to Wembley again. But having said all that forget the final concentrate on winning this game first because it will not be easy as for the fans get behind the lads remember Rorke's drift were the british army was well out numbered did they moan no they got on with it and the Zulu give in that's the mentality for tomorrow come on City be loud and proud. P.s-hope you all sleep well tonight
Perhaps the ones who are washing their hair this time are the silent apathetic types anyway. We're well rid.
However we look at it, its hugely disappointing to me we havent sold our allocation. I wonder if instead of one per passholder they made it two and for juniors to be allowed a spare ticket too it may have helped with selling them all.
Agree with this. Lack of appeal to the day trippers and a lack of disposable income for many has kept the numbers down. We're in the process of rebuilding our fanbase. We have to remember, less than a generation ago, our gates were averaging less than 4,000. I've no doubt that with continued success and that much talked of stadium expansion, we'd be able to average 30,000 plus in the near future. That would be about right.
What's done is done with regard to ticket distribution. The sooner our back room team move to Premier League standard the better.
