I wouldn't be too down. You would have nice food ,but the stress of deciding when to drink your 1 bottle of beer that you get per person. You could numb the pain by drinking the cheap wine though. £1400 plus VAT for seat, food and 10 whole beers bargain....i think not. I know these things aren't about getting tanked up but even so it's a bit steep. Bring on the cheap seats!!!
Its a shame that ticket prices have become the talking point on what could/should be a great day - classy opposition, olympic flame, other events, football matches after 2 months without watching saints, 1st chance to see new signings and all in memory of the great man who saved our club. make it a tenner and that could be a nearly full stadium. agree that after purchasing season tickets, maybe new kit and planning away games £25 is a step too far.
Now I can't work it out myself, so lets see if someone here has the answer. Do we think it will be mixed fans as it was last year?!? I can't see them spliting them up even if it is Arsenal. Nothing has been said it would be any different. A confused Saint!
You have to remember that in the eyes of the management at SFC you are nothing more than a cash cow to be relentlessly milked at every opportunity.
We do provide most of the income that keep Saints running, but remember that in order to keep milking us they have to give us success. Fair exchange. Had two promotions and a cup...if Cortese keeps the good times rolling I'll keep raiding the piggy bank.
