But what if a 10 year old city fan wants to bring billy - the 10 year old ginger haired hull based Manchester United supporting school mate who slags off city and city fans at every opportunity despite never having been to a football match before?
Thanks all. Thats how I read it, but then I read it again and again. Just wanted to clarify. One of our group has only had a pass for a year.
Same height is blue down the side as green behind the goal, but personally behind the goal is much better than being side on. Ill be going for blue with fingers crossed I manage to make the lower tier but I won't be a happy bunny if I end up paying more for an inferior seat. Specially if billy gets a ticket in my vicinity. At least I'll be there.
Yes, loads of pensioners wives who don't normally go to football is just what we need for a good atmosphere.
I agree. Sit down! At least Wembley seats are dead comfy. Oh wait.... I was sat sideways in the playoffs, old soppy ****s and day outers around me wanted to sit down, my legs don't fit in the 5 inch gap between the seat rows.
At Wembley, the seats at the side are much closer to the pitch than the seats at the ends. Trust me, the sides are way better the ends on the top tier.
I don't think it's particularly fair. An adult fan who's been going 1.5 years is entitled to two tickets compared to myself in the 16-22 bracket (pass holder for 7 years) isn't?
You can't please all of the people all of the time. I've been going for over thirty years, pay nearly three times as much as everyone else for my season tickets, but I don't expect more than anyone else.
The exact quote I used several pages back. I understand they were always put in a difficult position, clearly there were too many pass holders who have had their pass two years or longer overall to offer it to all the concessions. Suppose they could have gone to 3 or 4 years (unless they don't have this history?)
I think you've answered your own question there, it appears we lost the historic info when the systems were upgraded.
All i am bothered about it getting both my lad and myself tickets, and being pass-holders for a bloody long time i will have no problem. Will hopefully get similar seats behind the goal just like play-off final. If we have only 18000 pass-holders and 32000 tickets to shift, 14000 non pass-holders won't be snapping up the remaining tickets, so no harm in offering a pass-holders an extra ticket if needed. Wish you could get them online though, so much easier, form will be getting sent off asap.
