The paperwork has been sent to the Football League for approval. That is the final stage. Everything else is completed and they just need the Football League to approve the deal.
Can't wait. I've not been able to muster a really emotional whinge about the new owners yet, but I am sure once they are in charge I will step up to the plate. Bags I get to be first to say "it was better under Bates"

One of the GFH directors on board has a net worth of over 100 million themselves. I really dont think we will be short of a few quid. My outside bet is once GFH are in sole control of the club further investment will come from the original party that backed off. My theory is GFH will bring them in once bates has gone as they wouldnt deal with a con man like bates. Either way, as long as we are run right I will be happy & we will challenge for the top flight. Maybe not straight away,depends how much they are prepared to intially sink in, but Bates will be out
Afternoon Bucks. I wouldn't be too surprised if we were sold on by GHF to others with more serious money once the dust settles & Bates has finally left.
Tommy clearly does not believe in kicking a man when he's down, he likes to wait until he's back onto his knees and trying to get standing again (though I think we are still flat out, maybe just trying to raise our battered bruised body off the floor after having had the kicking of our lives). I assume its more fun to see us go splat again after we've got our hopes up.
