I see Hugh Taylor has put up two of my selections in Chapter and Verse and Captain Royale.

Stop copying me Hugh!

Of course Dicky Hills is a huge concern but at the price I'll gladly have a small play.

Read this morning that Vincent Ward is selling both Fictional Account and End of the Affair after todays race. Would love to see one of them sign off in a perfect manner for him and I really think Fictional Account could romp home today if ground remains as is.

Oddy - Joking aside the stats of Ryan Moore are impressive again... 84 from 434 @ 19.4 - 184 @ 42.4
He was only 9 wins behing Hanagan when he got injured, i forgot how good a season he was having... Could have been very close for the champ jockey again...

Six to concentrate on; Bold Fastrac, Tislaam, Gooseberry Bush, Select Committee, Lucky Dan and Silvanus. Bond Fastrac is up 6lbs here and up in class. He hasn’t won above a mark of 70 before and he is 0-5 going left handed. Tislaam runs this track well with a win and a close up third last time. He is 0-8 on good to firm. Select Committee is 0-6 round the turns here, Silvanus, 0-22 in class 5, Lucky Dan who is dropping in class but has an awful draw and he is 0-15 in fields of 12 or more. That leaves Gooseberry Bush. She was beaten 2ls at Sandown last time in a better race than this and the third, Mata Hari Blue won yesterday. Peter Makin is 2-7 at Pontefract and De Sousa is 1-1 for the yard. With Hugh Taylor putting up Captain Royale had to check him out. 0-6 on good to firm
SELECTION; GOOSEBERRY BUSH

I've looked through this bumper at Perth and I can't get away from the favourite, Peg Leg. 5/2 available so I've had a good bet.

Should go close rounders judging on the money. As you say the top one will have to be a very decent animal to win under that double penalty.

<applause> GDC, fantastic shout on the Balding yard's other horse- broke well today and proved that the glimmer of ability last time did indeed indicate we have a smart horse.

Another 25/1 winner from the Andrew balding yard <cool>

Cheers TopClass mate, the run behind Farraaj told me everything. I just wonder if this one had been working better than Stature and that's why they pulled it out this morning!!
