I must admit, I seldom go for the pies at racecourses, but some of the best food I had was at Wincanton in their food hall. That and the steak sandwiches at Cheltenham are top notch. The canteen at Chepstow, less so! Pies are for football, remember them fondly from away days following town around the top half of England. Wigan was a winner if I recall.
