Is Franck Ribery really deserving of being odds on to win the Ballon D'Or or am I missing something?? Granted Messi hasn't had the best 12 months of this unbelievable career and CR7 ain't won a pile in that time but it seems being part of the Champions League winning team is surely carrying Ribery to this prize, IF the odds compliers are right...

I think most football fans would have Ribery last of those 3 to join their team, I know I certainly would.

I agree stick, I think he was over confident after last week when he also just got her home by a nose but should have won further. The horse will stay and gallop but he gave her too much to do and made a result altering move when going inside but always intending to bring her wide again.

Could be worse! I'm in Teddy Durcan in the next at Kempton.

He can be brilliant when he's on his "A" game but for me he hasn't had the consistency of Messi or Ronaldo throughout his career. Can't fault his effort though, reminds me of one of those slum-dogs, will chase everything and get stuck in. Champions League winner does seem to have a massive sway though - Messi powered Barca to another La Liga title (arguably the hardest league to win in Europe) with an unprecedented number of goals and assists.

I'm very much a Messi man but I think this one year, I'd give it to his old nemesis CR7. He hits a hatrick practically every other week and Messi's been out injured now and again. Ribery wouldn't even get into the debate with this those two in my opinion.

Been looking at the last at Kempton and I am quite sweet on the chances of bottom weight FIRST CLASS. A course and distance winner two runs ago and then a good third over a furlong shorter next time out. Back up in trip I think he has a really good chance up only three pounds!
