Lot happening on the old non-runner front then. Now the original 3rd fave is out of that Huntingdon Bumper as well! Dear old Biffy Biffen.

And yet another out of that Chester card commencer. Is it a coincidence that those drawn 7, 10, 12 and 13 are the NRs?!? I think we all know the answer to that one don’t we crew?!? What, what?!?

Strange chap that Baker. I remember how he blubbed in ’16 when being the first to be voted off that ‘I’m in the Jungles…’ prog. Was desperate to give the impression of being nonchalant, about it, but was fighting back the tears at his rejection by the ordinary members of the public.

Isn’t it everyone’s fave?!? Well possibly joint fave along with Love Island.

Being serious for a moment I always think ‘I’m in The Jungles…’ works due the time of year it is scheduled (i.e. when freezing and raining in this Isle). Incidentally, the best ever contestant has to be the lovely, and I do mean lovely, Edwina Currie (who I’ve met. I think I’ve mention this about a million times before). Was certainly an avid viewer that term.

You are right there..great time to put a programme like that on in January when nothing really happens and people are staying in after all those Christmas celebrations..

I always find it's easier to schedule watching national hunt racing in general too..I mean if it's lashing it down with rain on a cold February it is unlikely you will be doing much so perfect to put your feet up and watch the jumps action...compare that to a gorgeous summer's day where it's nice and hot outside..you could tune in to watch some drab flat action..watch some racing involving 3 year olds we might not see next season or perhaps take yourself down to the coast..you get the picture....

    Chepstow
13.50 Fancy Copper night to win but price is very short. Maybe Mokaatil (ew) is better value at 8/1
14.25 Circus Maximus looks risky at odds on. Has the form but we have no idea how good the well bred Fox Chairman could be
    15.00 King Of Tonga
15.35 Kew Gardens has classic for and should win but too risky at Evs/odds on. Magic Circle looks a big danger if fully recovered and fit
    16.05 -
16.35 Katiesheidinlisa (nap) Obliged for me in the Sat comp so can't desert her now
    17.05 Bobby K (ew)

    afternoon,fellas!

    huntingdon,1 40:

JACKSON HILL has burned favourite backers finger already a good few times, but he might improve on his recent form on this better ground and a longer trip.also is he with a top yard, and richard johnson takes the ride,so surely not a forlorn hope here..

    worcester,2 00:

jonny yuma and MISS AMELIA have already met once this season, where he beat the mare at hexham, but hes been clobbered with a 16 lbr hike now,and its his third race in a short space as well,,whereas miss amelia can race off the same mark today,so shes better off now with him.so,i hope, miss amelia can turn the frm around today..

They ruled her out on Tuesday, then said on Wednesday that she might run but that it was less than 50% chance. They didn't supplement her this morning, so she is OUT for sure. I backed Suphala for the French Guineas but have Siyarafina for the French Oaks, so hope she gets her mojo back.

STORM CONTROL hasnt shown a lot yet this season, but he was quite useful last season over hurdles,so he might still have untapped potential over fences.good chance,if able to do so.

Kew Gardens didn't half get thumped there. I didn't watch the race but wonder how fit he looked today?

If he was fully primed it doesn't look good. Mind you, I thought he looked best in the Zetland Stakes at two, where he bounced along on the fast ground that day.

the dascombe team is always to be feared here, especially with juveniles, and ITS BEEN NOTED is apparently first string,so a bold show possible..
