Some pretty good reasoning there!! <ok> I get you on Arctic Fire but surely if Jezki shows anything of his champion hurdle win he will have too much , he too is the most good ground horse ever! His record from the time after cheltenham an before it in the last season you would think it was different horse he comes to his own on good ground no idea what happened at cheltneham but he should make amends today!

Conti just doesn't get cheltenham, as you say they have had pretty much 30 days between this and cheltenham so he would have had extra rest, Nicholls will have him 100% and on the good spring ground he will pressure Holywell force him in to errors and then out run on the run him something he showed he can pull at Kempton pretty well!

Unoriginal but just on a Hargam, Silviniaco Conti double for today. Hargam really should be winning his race, as for Conti I completely agree with Wooly. How he isn't fave is completely beyond me. He has proven he can run well here after a hard race at Cheltenham and he is te best horse in this race hands down. Until Holywell proves he is genuinely up to this class (which I don't think he is) then I wouldn't be touching him with a barge pole

Some of the worst planning I have ever witnessed on this forum! I do hope wherever you're staying has the golf on the telly.

Not exactly brilliant fields but it's really interesting racing. The ones i like today are:

    Vibrato Valtat - 9/4
    Bristol De Mai - 6/1
    Silviniaco Conti - 3/1
    Arctic Fire - 2/1

Why should Jezki win if he shows his CH winning form? I'd say Arctic Fires 2nd place in this years race was superior form. 1st and 3rd in the 2014 renewal where well beaten in this years race, which suggests to me Jezki won a poor renewal of the CH. Also remember how the first 2 Jezki and My Tent Or Yours couldn't even win the Supreme between them the year before. Beaten by a horse that went chasing!

As far as Jezki being a good ground horse, yes he is, but he had his ground in this years CH, and Arctic Fire showed him a clean pair of heels up the hill. The ground today will be similar to what it was on CH day.

We will find out in due course who is correct. Though hopefully whatever happens, everyone shows a profit on the day <ok>

    Morning chaps

Some interesting racing from Aintree with quite a few favs seeming to be deserving favs.

Nothing sensational from me but having plucked out Next Sensation at Chelts LTO I can't be deserting him now. I also think that Master Malt has a cracking ew shout at 20-1 in the lucky last.

Hargam is nailed on - at a lousy price, but "printing money" as they say. And much as I can see that Warne has been targeted at the race he won last year, I think it's a tougher renewal this time around, and I'm with Nina's mount On The Fringe.

I can't forget the way that Arctic Fire was chasing down Faugheen at Cheltenham, and for all Jezki and Rock On Ruby's chances, the formline is surely with the Mullins horse.

I agree with what earlier posters have said re Silviniaco Conte's better form away from Cheltenham and I also took the 3-1 available. Vibrato Valtat in the opener looks good enough.

    Good luck all <ok>

Just a follow up from yesterday evening...Ken Doherty and Reanne Evans is currently 3-3 in a best of 19 game. She's only going to knock Crafty out

I'm pretty sure Arctic Fire had a pretty easy time of things at Cheltenham for such a major race. Steady pace throughout, two flicks of the whip and he whooped Jezki et Al and only lost out because we have a superstar on our hands. I hope AF smashes the field later on.

Give myself a little boom there. Cracking ride from Ruby. Was the best horse in the race and a smashing price.
