too many too good, McCoy needed the race for the next handicap mark. I would have backed Party rock purely because the Candish stable like a bet and plunged on

    Hard luck the don
Backed your horse. To me he didn't travel to well today, he looked in pain maybe under the saddle. I'd be interested to know what the jockey and trainer said afterwards
    Good luck anyway

Not there today but from what I have seen that is obviously not the horses true ability. Something is definitely amiss. The yard has not sparkled at all this year with odd winners here and there and only a few actually running to form. Harry was one of the few showing his true colours but I suspect that whatever has been bothering the others in the yard is now bothering him too. They will probably go and win the next race but overall the suspiscion has to be that something is not right at the yard. Too many running too badly for there not to be something wrong!

I agree, he's a better horse than that even taking into account he may not have liked the ground. He carried his head wrong like a hose in pain

I've backed Amanto at 9/2 in the 3.45 at Taunton. Will improve for another run and was beaten into third by two next time out winners. The opening mark probably leaves a little wiggle room.

Bobby Benton 5/1 Chelmsford 7:40 - I think is fairly treated still and with young Marquand further taking 7lbs off looks sure to go close again.

Well done Gazboy. There is a woman in my office that actually says "whoop whoop" every time something mildly good happens! I really want to punch her!
