Hey attivo , back on the bash ! well done ! I see dai has Cropley running in first race at wincanton, bottom weight and champion jodie hughes in saddle .......

BROADCLYST 15/2 Wincanton 2:15
There are not too many 8yos with so few miles on the clock and if he puts in a clear round he certainly has the scope to win this. A massive plus is young Carver in the plate who is right up there in the list of Nass/Sticks top conditionals. The price is point and a half better than anywhere else so unlikely to stand the test.

I wouldn't be surprised if Wicked Willy takes the 12.37 Leicester. Was supported in the market when trying a seller over fences for the first time back from a break last time out but lost a shoe when never travelling. Has been given a little break after this and I still think must be good enough for a seller given the fact that he won a class 2 over hurdles at Kempton in march 2019.

Nigel Twiston Davies does well at Leicester. Stats over the last 5 seasons:

58 runs 12 wins 25 placed PL 17.70

Jack Savage stats at Leicester over the last 5 seasons

3 rides 1 win 2 placed

So hopefully Wicked Willy finishes 2nd at least for each way purposes.

Good luck everyone today

In the 1.07 Leicester Elysian Flame could give the fav something to think about. Flat form is quite useful and was highly tried over hurdles last season. Todays going will suit. Comeback run on the flat in September wasn't a bad performance (3rd) and its interesting that the horse is entered in a class 2 at Aintree on saturday. That suggests connections still hold the horse in some regard. Paddy Brennan in the money on 4 out of 9 rides for Mick Easterby so could be in the mix at least.

Leicester 1.37 Leskinfere

- was 3rd off 15lb higher in this race last year
- 4 times placed in chases out of 9 runs
- Leicester form reads 323
- drop in class today. Last run in a class 5 the horse finished 4 of 12
- local trainer John Cornwall has interesting stats over fences at Leicester for each way purposes:

13 runs 1 win 5 places PL 13.00

Conditional Nathan Evans who takes off valuable 7 lb has eyecatching stats over fences this season:

Rides 3 wins 1 placed 2

Has ridden a winner and was placed over hurdles last week.

Obviously this can't be a confident win selection with the horse 0-17 under rules but I'm quite hopefull that Leskinfere will be plugging on to reach a place at 33/1 on offer.

In race 5 at Leicester Gavin Sheehan is an eyecatching jockey booking for the Tom George trained Lydia Violet. 4 rides 1 win 1 placed over the last 5 seasons so a 50% strike rate for each way purposes. Lydia Violet was keeping on well in 5th at Warwick last time out on debut. Step up in trip today should suit. Tom George has a good all time record with his runners at Leicester for each way purposes with 71 runs out of 141 in the money.

So hopefully at least 1 of my 4 Leicester ideas goes in.

A few at short prices at Chelmsford:

4:30 - Prosili 5/2
6:00 - Nigel Nott 4/1
6:30 - Smokey 2/1

Was going to do singles, doubles, treble but i'll just stick a £5 win patent on instead, why not.
