I see the registration of trotters is the same as for show jumpers in France; each year they move up the alphabet and when naming foals all those born in the same year start with the same letter

If there’s any justice in the world then The Arsenal will sign old boy Lemar from Monaco later on today. My mole in the dugout advises though that right about now the chances of the move taking place are 50/50.
 
Monaco's chief exec has had the entire footballing world salivating over one season wonders and paying 75% above market value for all of them. Lemar for £92m is incredible business for the French club.
