    Well the Derby form is at least proven to be completely worthless as expected. English King just lacks gears and has no tactical speed, the Lingfield trial was a pace collapse and he picked up the pieces, hes starting to look like a cup horse in the making and his best hope this year will be a strongly run Leger but hes probably a horse for next year over 2 miles. He would probably have finished 2nd in the King George but so would most horses in training.

    Though he won round Lingfield he doesn't seem to like hilly bits. A shoo in for the Geoffrey Freer?
