Bollox, fast finishing second. Looks like Diakali was boxed in by it's stablemate Wicklow Brave at a crucial time there. Ruby and Townend maybe having a straightener behind the stand as we speak.

Ron, I am looking at tomorrow’s Goodwood card and the TV races look like short-priced favourites, so the Placepot will probably pay £5 if I am lucky!

I think I may just start following Mr Doran at Galway tomorrow but it is an evening card...

Ignore that, having just watched the replay Diakali was already retreating at the time. Excellent tipping Ste.

Wow how spectacularly bad was that... All three basically tailed off, and all my confidence in DIAKALI eh <doh> That's pretty scandalous tipping, point me to the naughty/knob head corner Ron! Shocking stuff.

Well in Ste lad, chuffed for ya. That's legendary tipping in a day of tough, big fields. Superb <applause>

..<laugh>....you obviously have absolutely no idea what a Nazi is! I am no Royalist, but her dad, George VI, was my hero. He never left us during the blitz, could have buggered-off like his useless twat of a brother to the Bahamas, but he didn't. Guess you're far too young to understand that, of course.

    Enjoy Ste and well done.

The Master has had a dreadful Galway. He'll be dynamite next year though won't he! Everything will be targeted there.

    A few longshots for tonight.
6.45 Ffos Las. THE BURNHAM MARE 16-1. Is the outsider of the 5 runners but I think this has a chance. Off bottom weight and has another entry on Wednesday too. Looks decent value. Win bet.
7.15 Ffos Las. REBEL YELL 14-1. Unexposed, like the jockey, drops into a class 6 and has another entry on Monday too. Think it could be about to strike. Win bet.
7.45 Ffos Las. SPICE FAIR 14-1. Watched its last race closely with Keniry also as jockey then. Really messed up the start but didn't lose much as the race unfolded. Dropped a few more pounds as a result and think this could pop up if Keniry has a decent start this time.
8.55 Ffos Las. LITTLE 9-1. I think this one is really interesting. Had several pretty average runs in last few months and mark keeps dropping. There seems to have been some money for this today from 12-1 into 9-1 so maybe its ready to strike. Last run came from a long way back in the last few furlongs so tonight could be the night. Win bet.

Actually done a bit of research this time rather than lazily following jockeys which I've been doing lately. Just need one of these to come in for a nice profit.

Martin Dwyer just got the best backed horse of the day (Happy Call) beat at Ffos Las by messing around with his whip needlessly (whip twizzling). Had in his left hand and the horse responding for no reason puts it down has to pull it through, I don't think even used it in the end in the right hand and whilst he is doing this the horse gets beat a short head. I hate it when they do that!!!

What a complete mess of a ride Keniry again gave SPICE FAIR there. Should have won easily.
