agree with mustard quarter moon, as an Irish catholic I should not be backing her majesty's horse (especially as she is a nazi), but her majesty's horses have won me a load past year or two, so c'mon Lizzy! She's due a decent winner.

My telly four today - and therefore the ones to avoid are:

    2-05 Keble
    14-35 Tasleet
    3-10 Quest For More
    3-45 Lustrous

Didn't realise that Pricewise had pointed at Keble - probably explains the relatively skinnier price than otherwise would be the case. Still - they have to win before you need to worry what the price is!

    Good luck all <ok>

After yday's bad burn in the plate i've applied some after sun and hoping for a winner or two at Galway
1.50 As De Ferbert win 3s
    2.20 Sizing Plantinum win 7/2
    3.30 Lavinlad win 6s
4.45-Had another look at this race and although Diakali is the class act in here I think he might be vunerable to something down the weights.Quickjack ticks alot of boxes so will do for me.Saver on Marchese Marconi

Not been able to get on here much recently due to work but got a really strong fancy for Pallasator in the Goodwood Cup. Ran poorly on comeback but have a feeling this has been the plan for the year. Doesn't look a particularly strong renewal and think he is potentially much too good for these

Terrible offer from Paddy Power. They will refund your money if your horse finishes 2nd or 3rd in the first race every day at Glorious Goodwood. I can't find a horse that's even running in the first race every day.

Pretty horrific ride by Cosgrave on Arabian Comet there. Just sat out the back made no move. Very odd.

Was that Ted Durcan or Tom Durkin on Mustard in the first race? He was drawn on the inside rail, he tracked around the whole race on the inside rail but instead of waiting until the gap opened up at the end of the false rail, he tried to pull out and got boxed in. I am not saying he would have won but I could do without brain-dead jockeys on my selections.

As it is I think I am going to switch to doing “place only” bets at Not So Glorious Goodwood as (other than Toormore) I have had five placed out of six. I am nearly doing as badly as Pricewise and he is picking two in some races!

So when I have finished picking tomorrow’s selections all Forum members will need is a Placepot slip and something of their own for the races that I do not cover.
