One at a decent price for me over in Ireland:

4:00 Bellewstown - Beckwith Place 20/1 Ew No worthwhile form for a while now but has the ability if the mood takes. Capable jockey on board and a decent price on offer.

Stick, any view on the Attwater horse in the 2:10? Zebedee's don't spring to mind as a fast ground sire influence.

I see Jamie Osbornes daughter has her first ride under rules tomorrow; She is a European gold medal eventer so we know she rides! The horse (Crime Of Passion) won off this mark last year over 5f and looked to have needed 6f last time out. Could see a big run lined up here

2:20 at Catterick is an interesting race, with lots of pace in the field and a potential for it all to fall apart. The horse I like here is Kaafy who prior to his last run had been more of a mid field and pounce type of runner. However, they applied the blinkers last time and they lit him up, and his jockey allowed him to race prominently and chase a strong pace. He saw off the leader that day, but did far too much early in the race, meaning that he was setting it up for closers. He traded at 1.22 in the run that day, showing how strongly he went through the race.

Now, they've got the experienced Paul Mulrennan on today, which to me is a jockey upgrade, and if the blinkers don't set him alight again, I think he will be ridden with more restraint and that will suit in this race. He also has the important course form, when running probably his best race to date, finishing second over five furlongs.

They've also nibbled him in from 7/1 to 6/1 (mainly 11/2) which is a positive.

bounced out and sat prominently and saw it out well. Like a jack in a box out the stalls.

Ran well enough without really looking like he was going to get involved. He paid each way backers some dividends. I didn't like the leg action at all during the final furlong and he goes onto the list of horses to swerve. Should have just done the House reverse forecast!!

Good to know that the Aberystwyth years weren't wasted. Time for bed, though.
