Depends what he's up against I suppose but, I agree, wouldn't be rushing to back him. If he stays in that grade or drops, he'll have a hefty weight. If he steps up in grade, he'll be struggling. It could be the slow early pace that made him struggle at the finish. I've never seen him race so no idea what his strengths are. Sectionals for his last few races will provide plenty of clues on that
