    What a game little mare that Memphis Belle is - obviously inherited lots of her dad's traits. It would be great if she could keep progressing and maybe sneak into the Pertemps final. Not sure she enjoyed that heavy ground so much today but she won very readily again and Evan Williams must be chuffed to see his daughter getting on so well with her. Long may it continue <ok>

    Very impressed by how Daryl Jacob is riding at the moment and he gave Grandeur D'ame a peach of a ride to win the bumper at Newton Abbot today. Well worth looking out for his rides, especially at the big weekend meetings.

    Possibly next year's Champion Hurdler and Golden Miller winners on show at Down Royal but nothing from Closutton - is Willie boycotting the meeting?

    (Word of warning: After Coeur Sublime hacked up in the WKD Hurdle last year I backed him for the Champion hurdle. Nuff said)

    Willie doesnt unleash his battalion until middle of November, usually the Navan meeting.
