Hmm, sounds to me, Cyclonic, that the poor guy had been participating in 'chari lubang', which means 'looking for hole', or in posh Malay/Indonesian 'mencari lubang'. He obviously found the wrong one? Just to be pedantic, it would have been a Parang rather than a Machete, not that it would have made a whole lot of difference to the poor chap's injuries.
I'm backing this and Burns Night in the 3.50 whose only real challenger looks like the (AW)Carroll-trained Taroum. Generally, my posts on this board serve as a curse warning to other punters not to lump on but I'm feeling confident today.
They're steaming into this Refer in the opener at Stratford - thought it ws called Reefer My Alan King horse out to 7s
Font 2.30 - I'm going to take on Money Money, I've plumped for Hopstrings. Should improve some way if jumping is better. Stratford 2.50 - I'm going against Oddy with the Benefit of Youth. Form of that last run giving away 7lbs to a higher rated horse with AP on its back looks very strong.
I've just been told that PENNY STOCK is expected to win in the 4.10 at Hamilton this afternoon. Apparently the lads at the Darley pre-training yard said it was the fastest thing they'd had through their hands for years! It's a very short price though so I won't be dabbling, thought it best to pass on thought!
Hamilton 3.40 Spes Nostra 9-1 EW This horse ran only yesterday and looked like the winner until a furlong out and in hindsight probably went off too early. I feel he was there to win yesterday as was fitted with the blinkers he needs, I feel they will collect at least EW today. 2nd running on at the finish.
Thanks for passing on Princess, I was expecting an odds on shot when you mentioned it being short but have just taken 85-40 with Betvictor which seems reasonable for a well thought of newcomer in an ordinary race, fingers crossed but thanks whatever happens.
She ran ok into third Princess, my thoughts were that she did indeed look speedy and perhaps five furlong would have been a better place to start, she also looked tiny and looks to still have a lot of filling out to do. interesting to see if she can go on from this but I think they are only thinking about her three year old season.
Crucis abbey at 8s in the 515 looks very big ew And little ew on orion star in th 5 at 14s if it doesnt get pu lol
Lingfield races on turf seem to all actually only be a furlong long, it appears the race is only for the rail and then whoever gets it stays there to the line. I Think Kempton is made the fairest all weather course by far simply because of the cut away and feel more courses should incorporate one where possible. I have backed St Georges Hill in the next 5-2... Will he get the rail though?
