Cheers Bob. Jumping straight from 5f to 7f flagged him up for me, green as grass but what guts at the finish :)

Anybody see the 1.40 @ Stratford ? Gentleman Moore kicked off the jockey and never went an inch at the start and was deemed a runner. Surely this needs stern looking into. Those bookies eh <laugh> who makes the rules ???

There is a bookie who offers your money back as a free bet if you "do not get a run" .. not sure who though! Saw it today, its one of PP, SJ, BV, or Betfair

It's an awful rule and void of sense. I remember several years back when I was knew enough to race betting, one I backed never left the stalls and I went to collect my money back only to be told the horse was deemed a runner. Doesn't make sense to anyone except the bookmakers pockets does it  ever since then these situations still annoy me greatly.

Not only did I see it I backed Gentleman Moore! It was farcical the jockey wanted to get out quick in the manner of his previous win. The starter took umbrage at something, not sure what, so Hodson had to pull GM's head off to stop him careering off up the track. So then they have a standing start and GM says **** you lot. I need to get back to work. I need to get back to work <laugh>.

I'd contact whatever bookie you made the bet with Chan, bad PR and that. Surely look after you.

Going double handed in the Cup- Pallasator and WICKLOW BRAVE, whose form when 3rd on Champions Day is about the best on offer here IMO.

While most of the talk has been about last year's first and second, Big Orange and QFM, Palasator was bang there with them and well worth an interest. I'm sticking with Sword Fighter though, a 3yo on a steep upward curve getting 17lb from the rest of the field. Stats say he's unlikely to win, but horses can't read stats thankfully!

Dodgy stalls at Galway. Flag start so I hope the claimer on the Ellison horse lines up a lot tighter than his 15 draw.

The one that stayed in the stalls wins.

<laugh> Crazy scenes. Somebody will be frantically trying to sort them out cos they've got a couple more flat races today.
Big Orange has a huge heart.

Emma Spencer to Jamie: "nice ride chap but really Hayley f****** Turner over me, what were you thinking?"
