I have not had a bet in a while, but I'd have a buck on her to beat him home in a solidly run race.

I'm not sure Ruby will be having too many sleepless nights wondering if Quevega will finish in front of VLV - that said I heard a while back theat she was unlikely to get to Cheltenham....

Well done on Zaidpour lads - knew it was a cracking bet ;) <laugh>

Completely forgot about Firefighter but see he won the first <ok>

RV what do you think of Romulus D'artaix on chase debut today? (Warwick 3.25)

Soft spot me thinks - Zaidpour wants a strongly run race to use his turn of foot to better effect but why should Ruby make his own running. It was obvious there was going to be no pace- one playing for place money one in there for a prep then the main two. I am a big fan of both btw

7lbs is a lot of weight to concede to a class mare she wasn't good enough

Lads, look at her races. She's been beating Mourad by tracking very moderate pace then turning it into a sprint which she will always win. Mourad has no pace and needs a strong gallop which you don't get in Ireland, especially with 4/5/6 runners. Zaidpour has the gas for 2miles and kept on really nicely over a trip we were unsure about. He'll improve for a stronger gallop as well. I said all this last night and this morning.

Yep exactly Quel <ok> that slow pace would have been against Zaidpour as well but Ruby was never going to go a fast pace from the front.

Interesting race the 3.25. I can't see past Ockey De Neuililac to follow up. That young jockey seems to get on well with him and he whips off a handy 10lbs, he's due to take a hefty rise in the weights after this race, the trip shouldn't be a problem. 7/2 seems fair.
