This lad had dead heated with the champion pointer on his last start with Ferguson and they felt he'd have won with a different ride so a Perth bumper was always going to be easy pickings! Yep, Gordon has some serious ammo, will be some awesome bumpers for us this winter with his and the Closutton masses banging heads!
Very interesting and makes his performance even more credible. I was prepared to look at the positive even before hearing about the shoe. People seem to jump on a performance when a horse is so short in the market but he's much better than the bare result and some of his jumps were brilliant. Yep, Jeffersons Urban Hymn was one looked like he could scale some heights but ultimately proved a bit disappointing in the end.
