Imagine being James McDonald. Win $3k then lose your retainer at Godolphin. What a prat. Surely you just get your brother/dad/mum etc to place the bet for you and stick the winnings in their account for when you want it. Using anyone out of that close tie sounds stupid. I'd be 100000000% sure every jockey bets on the horses but almost all have the sense to use people they can trust.

Good luck today lads with squire. For me the cough would be a concern but I'll wait for the bigger price before I weigh in. Happy birthday tomorrow stickler, I'll be raising a glass to you both, win or lose.

Best of luck with Squire lads. Hope he runs a good one and comes back safe and sound. I see he is blue across oddschecker, as low as 4/1 with Skybet. Someone must have their Christmas money on him.

The final furlong boys certainly know their stuff. Would never have known otherwise.

Can't believe this. At last I could watch Squire live on ATR. But no. I am stuck at my daughter's baby sitting and ATR not available. No-one at home so can't get it recorded. So listening in on Timeform radio

Will be hard pressed to beat Curzon Line but let's hope.

Abit unlucky to get trapped three wide but he was probably better off not winning today as the handicapper would have hammered him. I'm sure he'll be back in the winners enclosure when he drops a couple of pounds.
