Nice little plot there by Sophie leech and Paul Maloney withdraw shouda and switch Maloney onto nicene creed then wins very well....shame I didn't spot it before the race
And now SUPER VILLAN goes in...is it ****ing plot day at Chepstow today or what? What chance Mister Wiseman and my old pal VICTORY GUNNER?
FFS that looked very generous indeed 2 out as the fav cruised into the lead (backers must have been prematurely counting their winnings). Can't believe the jockey couldn't get that home.
Looked like the idiot jockey onboard thought he had won the race and just wanted to cruise the last furlong and got beat by a late rally!
JT McNamara update: “JT McNamara remains in the Intensive Care Unit at Frenchay Hospital, Bristol. He is in a stable condition and his level of sedation is being reduced. Whilst his vertebral damage remains serious, he has not suffered a brain injury. His wife Caroline and family very much appreciate all the messages, cards and letters that have been received. There will be no further update this week.” Issued jointly by Dr Adrian McGoldrick, Irish Turf Club Senior Medical Officer and Lisa Hancock, CEO, Injured Jockeys Fund on behalf of the McNamara Family.
PRESENTING LAZARUS is interesting in the Cork bumper simply because trainer Harry Kelly has a strike rate in bumpers even better than the legend that is Willie Mullins
It's no laughing matter I know but do you think there is any irony when a jockey is described as being in a "stable" condition? Thoughts are with the poor lad of course and his family. Fingers crossed for some good news from this story in the coming weeks!
22lbs lower than when winning over course and distance just over two years ago but his run last time looked like one of a horse that had big problems. I hope I am wrong if you are among the hordes backing him but frankly I would rather be on his stablemate PAHENTE. Yard just won the 7.00 so no problem with their wellbeing, they have been winning for fun in recent weeks. Good luck if you are on Bluesky, Heis et al.
