Lady Of Dubai didnt get much of a run at all at Goodwood Beefy, was travelling well too, not sure if she wants this 1m4 tho. Was thinking about this colts fillies nonsense yesterday and just remembered, the Oaks winner was beaten 11L by Jack Hobbs next time out, the 2nd from the Nassau was also tailed off in America next time.
Awful run DK Nice if Bolgers mare had have done that at Ascot. There unpredictable DK that's for sure, be foolish to expect them to run to form time in time out. They never do. The Derby was a poor race though.
Cladocera was also 4rth in the Nassua, a decent filly but she is what she is, average at best, was tailed off behind Solow. Arabian Queen appears to be a glitch in the matrix, remains to be seen if she backs it up and im not saying she wont, but id be surprised if she beat Golden Horn again in a more conventional race. The Juddmonte form look suspicious at best and a throw out at worst, and in my opinion its completely unrealistic to rate the Nassau off it. It cant be suggested that Arabian Queen ran to anywhere near 130 when beaten 1 1/2 by the 102 rated Wedding Vow.
Depends on the ratings DK though, nothing else matters. Maybe the Juddmonte didn't actually happen and it was holograms we saw yesterday...
I backed her last time but I wasnt interested in her today at all, surprised you were, falling for the Nassau form obviously.
I have backed Koora who is Jamie Spencer's mount in the next. I am very happy to have 8-1 from last night and I know Luca Cumani likes to lay one out for the Ebor meeting, the price has contracted to 11-2 demonstrating the horse is fancied hopefully, the horse also has a good draw in 4. Now surely Jamie would not relinquish his draw advantage and drop him out at the back giving everything a head start with 3 furlongs to go at a meeting it has been seen that being up with the pace is advisable, he wouldn't would he?
*IF* Golden Horn and Jack Hobbs finished 6th and 7th in the Arc would you still say that and claim neither ran their race or blame the track?
No, but that seems unlikely to happen, Golden Horn might not run and its such a shallow looking race this year. Jack Hobbs I think is probably the only serious threat to Treve.
Gosden there, pointing out pacemaker beaten 5L illogical and says they are going to the Irish Champion, hopefully Free Eagle and Gleneagles are there.
Hope he keeps his word Kaiser be some race. In fact could lure me down for my first flat meeting since the GOAT won it in 2009.
