Fancy 1 in both divisions of the Killarney handicap today -

Chimeric 8/1 - 6.15 been in decent form of late, can easily excuse any horse under performing at Galway, his penultimate run was in Killarney and he was just touched off into 2nd that day, unlucky not to win. Although this is a packed field, I feel Chimeric should be more of a 9/2 shot than the 8/1 on offer.

Made in Adaay 10/1 - 6.45 trainer doesn't seem to have a clue what trip to run this horse at, he is bred for speed but his best run so far was a when staying on over 7f late in the day. On that evidence the step up to a mile may suit this one if he can be ridden quietly out back and come off what will almost be a guaranteed strong pace, he could figure.

Good luck.

A pretty competitive looking Yearling Stakes race where several hold claims in the quest for the almost £100,000 winners pot.

Ever Given went to Ireland for a similar race and was not too far away in finishing 4th to Sacred Bridge. That effort came just three days after his previous win and perhaps came a bit soon but my worry is that runner up from the sales race, Bosh, was very disappointing as favourite for a Nursery earlier in the week.

Korker won last time out but his run at Royal Ascot has not worked out great since then and he steps up to 6F now. That is not necessarily such a concern at York but this big field should have its share of pace and there may be a battle for the lead.

System has the highest official rating in the field on 95 and along with Ever Given on 93 represent the class element so far. The Hannon stable are a little below their best on 5% and, as I said, Bosh was very disappointing the other day as favourite. Runs off the same weight as the male horses here

I went with Wings Of War. The Dark Angel colt made a promising debut and built on it in style at Nottingham next time. He was prominent before being briefly headed but was soon back in front and kicked away to finish strongly and win decisively. Looked like he was still learning that day and the third from the rave won easily next time. I think Wings Of War looks a good prospect for Clive Cox. On RPR he is right up with the best of these and he is the least exposed.

I am very hopeful of a good run.

2.25 York Wings Of War 5/1

Good luck today.

I think you have the winner amongst these 4 Grendel but not your selection. I may be totally wrong but I think there is some kind of draw bias here especially in these big fields. Middle to low would be where I’m looking and I think SYSTEM is the one to be on. I was on BOSH the other day and it was a pretty poor run but he was drawn higher than ideal I reckon. Good luck though.

Probably sunk Grendel as I'm with him on Wings of War

Stratford 1.00 Lambs Lane

Has earned minor money in several runs this season. Last run excused by vet when supported in the market. Stable had a big priced runner placed recently. On a career-low mark today and blinkers on. Could run well for each way purposes.

Stratford
13,00 Lambs Lane 18/1 e/w bet365 three places, others 14/1 four places (small bet)
16,52 Cards Are Dealt 25/1 e/w bet365 (small bet)

York
16,45 Vesela 16/1 e/w four places with Sky and Coral, others three

Today's dart throwing exercise came out with the following...

1:30 - Zain Claudette
2:25 - Atomic Lady @ 16/1
3:00 - Gifted Ruler @ 18/1
3:35 - Snowfall
4:10 - Neptune Legend @ 12/1
4:45 - Portfolio
5:20 - Star of Emaraty @ 13/2

Ones with prices carry that extra burden of my money... <ok> <cheers>

All about SANDRINE today for me.
Has done nothing wrong all season and I don’t see that changing today.

a pity that the value has gone now that Illustrating is a non runner.

The Lowther is a race where you have to be wary of 5F fillies whom you might have thought didn't have the class to win it. I have seen a few fancied 6F fillies come unstuck trying to run down the speedy ones.

Sandrine is unbeaten and a worthy favourite but at bigger odds I went with Outside World who made all here last time.

Hopefully she can get a lead and hold on to it.

1.50 Outside World 8/1

Well Zain Claudette was the one that I was concerned about - thought Sandrine would have the class to win, but clearly not.
