I'll have go with Wings of Eagles 7/2 in the first at Killarney. Was clueless first time in a decent maiden at Galway. His dam was useful over a mile so the step up in trip should help.

As a gentleman of advancing years I really should have learned the lesson of not getting too greedy by now.
I went on SkyBet last night to have a £50 double on Seventh Heaven 4/1 and Abingdon 2/1, at the last moment I noticed that they had enhanced Fair Eva to 4/9 so instead of the double I made it a treble! MUG!!!!!
Unfortunately have all been there my friend!!

What does that Dave Orton be on about eh??? Trying to convince viewers the 6.20 at Killarney is a "top, top race"??? mediocre handicappers Dave rated in the 70's and 80's...calm down mate. Competitive it definitely is. Top class it most certainly isn't. Rant over <laugh>

Fancied Eutropius at Hamilton 6:40- ran some much better races than the form suggests and you could argue that this is a good bit weaker.

Certainly a good ride...I imagine you were sweating once he got away at the false start, Ruby didn't panic tbf as it looked like the 2nd had slipped the field at one stage.

Don't want to curse this but I put these 3 in a treble a couple of hours ago down the local bookies. How was your stay in Devon?

Excellent. Going back the end of October.

Only one of the trio obliged but I think it would be dappy to give up on Fair Eva (or indeed Found) after this. The former is crying out for 7 furlongs and in hindsight I wonder if it was right to keep her at 6 rather than head straight to a Group 1 over further. Those bookie chappies who have doubled her odds for the 1,000 Guineas after the York defeat (8’s from 4) do, in my opinion, seem to have made a rash and potentially very silly move.

Happy days SBC, any particular place you like to go? Not being nosey but I live here in the seaside town of Exmouth.

I see that Sir Michael has a 2YO filly called Exmouth! May debut at Yarmouth on Sunday. Very well bred, as well, as the dam was a Listed winner and finished 6th in the 1,000 Guineas.
